I think that home schooling is not a good option. Islam does not stop your daughter from going to school. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged everybody man/woman to seek knowledge ever as far as China.

When your daughter gets older she should wear the hijab as it is a sheild for woman and protects her wherever she goes even school. Going to a school and studying in a group has many advantages. Other students no doubt will have questions which she may not have. And she’ll make friends that will last a lifetime!

The education system in Britain is excellent and I think as Muslims we should take advantage of such opportunities. Islam say men and women are equal and if the men can have access to these opportunities then women should also. It just seems a little extreme that we live in a western country and we want to home school young girls..I think this is deprivation for these women. Once they become older and have a little more independance I tihnk they will find it very difficult to interact with individuals who lived a more public life. However, the brother has said he will provide hadith and I will be happy to keep an open mind and understand his argument.
