As Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

The Waltham Forest Council of Mosques (WFCOM) is organising two hustings; one for Walthamstow (Friday 30th after Maghrib - 119-121 Grove road hall) and one for Leyton & Wanstead (Monday 26th after Maghrib - Noor ul Islam Mosque hall).

For those not familiar with the term hustings it is a (usually) public event where the prospective parlimentary candidates (PPCs) sit on a panel and we the public get to fire questions at them on issues that matter to us. We get to see the policies and stances to help decide who to vote for.

This by Invitation only (to avoid muhajiroon-types coming in), see one of the local mosques in WF for tickets or call me on 07830 238 594.

Munir should have tickets to give out (free).

Irfan

Salam just to put this into perspective can you confirm the names of the PPC's for Walthamstow and Leyton?

Jazakallah.

Salaam,

The PPC's for Walthamstow are Farid Ahmed (Lib Dem), Stella Creasy (Labour), Andy Hemsted (Tory ). For Leyton it is Farooq Quereshi (Lib Dem), John Cryer (Labour), Ed Northover (Tory).

What sort of questions would you be willing to put to the panel? I personally want to see how each of the members of the panel would answer questions pertaining to crime, Islamophobia, Israeli Occupation of Palestine, and the War on Terror. This is a chance for people to really lay into these guys and making checks on the candidates before deciding which one to vote for. I must stress, the Muslims in this country are large in number and we have so much political clout it is unbelievable. But it's no good us having this clout unless we are prepared to use it at the ballot boxes. So make sure you guys vote and encourage family and friends to do so.

Salaam,

The questions pertaining to the governments deliberate aggressive stance towards inferior nations is I suspect a topic of great interest to people.

In the event that I do not attend, can someone please ask the question relating to the use of the Burkha in the UK for muslim women. Belgium will vote today on their supposed issue with the burkha. If the ban is upheld and passed into law anyone caught wearing this is liable to face imprisonment as a punishment. I want to know what the panels stance on this issue is!

I had an open disucssion with Stella outside Daraloum Qadri Jilania, and stringently pointed out to the fact, that people are tired of the government lies and the hostility towards inferior nations. If you want to tackle the issue of radicalised devient ideological minorities within the muslim nation then we have a common goal, but to go about bombing and killing innocent people is not the answer to tackle this issue. Empower the muslims to tackle this issue, and thats why I am very proud to be associated with my Pir Mufakir Islam Dr Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani who does not tolerate misguided ideologies!

This is why I am not voting Labour in the General Election, Stella pointed out that if I voted Lib Dems and they came to power they will cut your child tax credits... lol are you serious... innocent people are being killed and you think I give a biscuit about child tax credits!!!

Ask Stella how much does it cost to equip a soldier to go to war, can we not use this money to reduce the countrys deficit or increase child tax credits??? She never gave me an answer maybe you brothers could try.

Oh and I forgot Ghulam e Meeran. its not War on Terror, "Its Terror through War"

Jazakallah
