Salam all

The British Muslim Forum, which is composed of representatives of all the various Ahlus sunnah organisations in the UK, has announced that Eid ul Fitr will be observed in the UK on Wednesday 31st August 2011 insha allah. This announcement was made as a result of the moon not having been sighted anywhere in Africa, the Middle East, Asia or Europe.

Muftis in South Africa have confirmed that the moon has not been sighted anywhere in South Africa therefore they will also be fasting on Tuesday 30th August 2011 and will be observing Eid ul Fitr on Wednesday 31st August 2011 also.

Three Eid ul Fitr Jama'ats will be held at Darul Uloom Qadria Jilania, 12 East Avenue Walthamstow, London, E17 9NG:

1st jama'at led by Huzoor Mufakkire Islam Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani will commence at 7.30 AM

2nd jama'at led by Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah Gilani will commence at 08:30AM

3rd jama'at led by Hafiz Mohammed Afzal Chisti will commence at 09:30AM
