In present day, there are many sunni scholars who could be accused of posessing kharjite tendencies. It simply can be clearly seen in those scholars who do not favour Nahrai Haidari. Many examples can be found, where scholars have stopped the public from chanting the Narai Haidari.

Syedna Siddiq E Akbar is reported to have said, when you address the Ahle Bait, you should address them as if the Prophet SAW was stood in front of you. These sunni scholars should try to learn from this.

La Fatah Illa Ali, La Saifa Illa Zulfikar.

With regret, their is now a preponderance of self-proclaimed Sunni 'scholars' who possess certain views which mirror those of the Kharijites. For example, the reluctance to mention the Ahlul Ba'yt in a favorable context; failing to display due deference to the same; or a blanket suppression of the name of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS), are indicative characteristics of Kharijites and seemingly now in 'our' Sunni 'scholars'.

Salaam,

It's a shame that what you say seems to be true. However, we should remember that even in the early days of Islam, those responsible for sowing the seeds of enemity towards Ahlul Bayt (a.s) held good Aqaid, they performed all the duties of a good Muslim. Yet despite all this, Sayyiddina Ali (k.w) was cursed for 70 years on the pulpits upon the orders of those who claimed to be of Ahlus Sunnah. For years efforts were made to propogate hatred towards those whom the Messenger of Allah (saaw) called his own. Amongst the masses of those days, the names of those truly loved the progeny of the Messenger (saaw) and served them and helped them, lives on till this day, and inshallah until the day of Judgment. The four Imams who studied under the Ahlul Bayt are many times made mention of and those who sought to spread hatred, ultimately failed in thier plans and thier off spring shall follow suit.

May The Peace Of Allah (swt) Be Upon Sayyiddina Muhammad His Family, His Companions and Those Who Follow Them Until The Day Of Judgement. Wasalaam Ghulam e Meeran Qadri Jilani

The Khwarij were described in a hadith by Rasoolallah (Saw),

When our Nabi (saw) was distributing wealth a man stood up and said Oh Muhammad be fair, At hearing this Hazrat Umar ra stood up and asked our Nabi saw for permission to kill the hypocrite, our Nabi denied permission and told the sahaba take a good look at this man, people will come who are like this man who when you look at there deeds, namaz, fasts, etc your deeds will look less compared to them, but they have nothing in their hearts, when they pray quran sharif it only reaches there throats, the hypocrite man had a obstruding forehead and cheekbones, shaved head big beard and high trousers half way up his calfs. These exact same features are seen in the wahabis/salafies of today.

Be warned!!!

It is the duty of Muslims to love and respect the Family of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) because the Holy Prophet has said in a hadith, “When I am loved, then my family members, whom I love should also be loved.” (Tirmidhi)
