Asslam Walaykum brother,
If you navigate through the previous threads on wahabism you will notice from the posts how extreme their deviency is. Although I admire your intent to protect true deen, I urge you not engage with these people where the result may lead to violence for yourself. You must have a true grasp of your subject area before conversing in debates with these misguided folk, because it then becomes your responsibility to explain their deviency in a systematic and loving way.
The following are just some of the topics in, which they disagree with the Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat & promote their own devient beliefs.
- Milad un Nabi (Previous threads on this are (Thread 1) http://www.sunnisonline.com/Forums/ta... (Thread 2) http://www.sunnisonline.com/Forums/ta...
- The Prophet (saw) is just a man! (this is their belief) (Thread 3)http://www.sunnisonline.com/Forums/ta...
- The Prophet cannot help you as he is dead (astagfarullah). (Thread 4)http://www.sunnisonline.com/Forums/ta...
I think this is enough for you to look upon provided you have an understanding of how wahabism started, you should be able to google for this. The wahabies have a deliberate misconception that you should take the Quran literally without looking upon the work of Ahle Sunnah Scholars. This is where they fall down because they try to give meaning to the Quran without having gone through the neccessary study, and refute anything a true Alim of the Quran/Wali or sahaba has said or done. They therefore are an isolated group who each one thinks they are scholoars with the ability/authority to make legal rulings on the Quran. Where a teaching from the Quran contradicts their misguided belief, they seem to want to see aiuthority/view on the teaching and no longer take it literally. Seems like they pick and choose what they believe.
Prophet(Sallal Laahu Alaihi Wasallam) said “There will be a Group of people who will recite the Holy Quran but it will not go below their throats. They will leave the true Religion of Islam as fast as an arrow leaves the bow. They will be recognized by the shavings of their entire head and they will move in Groups and their last Group will emerge with Dajjal, when you meet them you will discover their nature and character, the worst of its kind.”
The above narration is typical of their characteristics. It is because of these deviencies that we do not read namaz behind them, in the fear that if their belief is incorrect thenhow can our namaz be accepted.
Please also attend a Class at Daraloum Qadri Jilania, each and every Thursday from 2100-2200 to learn about deen, where you also have the opportunity to ask questions.
