i just wanted to know what do you guys think of us saifis, do u think we are on the wrong path and do u think some of the stuff we do is wrong, BECAUSE I DON'T AT ALL! and i heard u lot think we are badd people.....?

Salaam,

Thanks for posting your question. You did however post under the heading of DEVIATED SECTS but I have moved it from the DEVIATED SECTS forum to TASAWUF forum. So that should point out to you that we do not think you are on a DEVIANT PATH rather a recognised SUNNI SILSILA. The SAIFIS are a branch of the NAQSHBANDIYA sufi tariqa and this tariqa is without doubt amongst the major ones of the world. The tariqa carries the name of SYED BAHUDDIN SHAH NAQSHBAND, the coming of whom was foretold by Sayyidina Ghawth al-Adham (r.a) himself.

There is no doubt however that all tariqas have good guides in them and bad guides. The tariqa only teaches good. Some of the people who lead in tariqas teach exactly as the tariqa teaches. But others might have ulterior motives for being a murshid. I cannot comment on any indivduals because to put it simply, it dont concern me. It is wrong to think that others think you're bad! Good muslims never think bad of their fellow muslims.

Having said the above however, I have personally witnessed some of the going ons at Saifi majalis and have been taken aback by some of the things I have witnessed. They say that it is the faiz which makes people sometimes shake violently and shiver etc. I dont think I have ever heard of this ever happening in other tariqas so it seems a little alien to me.

My question to you is what is your opinion on the person who believes they are a Wali with a higher status than Ghawth al-Adham (r.a) and if you dont mind me asking, who is your Murshid Sahib?

Salaam,

I have heard of Pir Akhunzada Saifi Sahib, but not of Shaikh Ahmad Zia. Where is he from and who are his teachers? Where does he himself teach?
