Miracles support a Prophet to His claim of Prophet-hood, the more the miracles the stronger the support.

The same thing with a Wali ALLAH, the more the miracles the stronger the proof for somebody`s Waliya.

Bro you said "how do we know they died as a Muslim,? "we might recieve punishment instead by giving nice food, speaking about ALLAH [Glorified & Exalted] & His Creations, becuase we are expecting the Sawab to go to the Kafir". Good question.

My question to you is, with that ideology, how can we be sure about our Parents then?, we might just be commiting a sin by trying to send them some blessings when we do.
