Just think its so pathetic, I believe she even tried to confront them when they shouting obcenities at her. Question is, is this how they speak to everyone muslim women who walks around without wearing a hijab?

Yeah ok she does not wear a hijab or officially represent the muslims, but thats not the point because here is someone in the limelight working for the conservatives who might have the ability to portray muslims in a different view and influence perception, and on the other hand you have others who just want people to think Islam is violent full stop. Almost feels like the Jews who initiatilly supported the view that you can only be born jew, ohh how their view changed now!

They say it was the work of al-muhajiroun, but I dont think so, they look like wahabis/salafis to me!

It is the duty of Muslims to love and respect the Family of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) because the Holy Prophet has said in a hadith, “When I am loved, then my family members, whom I love should also be loved.” (Tirmidhi)

it is also in the quran that we need to respect and love the ahle bait in surah 42 verse 23.

That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

if any doubts about this then check the quran you have at home or anywhere.

thnks

I saw the video of this woman being egged and I thought it was quite funny. I wont comment on whether it was right or wrong. Although does look a little odd when bearded men are throwing the eggs.

Ali just thought I would let you know that it seems like the quote about love for ahle bait is in the wrong forum category. Could you possibly report it into the correct category or alternatively could the moderator kindly oblige.
